This guy is the most ! My kids and their kids have no idea or inclination to hear these musical gems...How sad...but I know others are interested in the rich past of musical greats like Louis Jordan.
When I need cheering up I play this...the best single disc of his songs that I've seen and agreed with re a limited selection ...All his recordings are entertaining. Great playing and plenty of hip-humour...Unique !... I recommend his biography 'Let The Good Times Roll' by John Chilton and a shorter biog within 'Honkers & Shouters - The Golden Years Of Rhythm & Blues' by Arnold Shaw - But listening is best - Gus
