Various Artists - Soulful & Blue 1 & 2

Two compilations I made some years ago direct from vinyl to a Yamaha Digital Recorder ( with the exception of the last 6 tracks on S & B 1 where they somehow corrupted and I replaced with versions gleamed from the net )
The start of my Rhythm & Blues Juke-Box Selection... ( I've made others which I'll post soon ) - Some tracks are well known, others pretty rare...these tunes were hard to find at the time and I wanted digital copies !...A mix of the bitter and the sweet - Little Richard's 'Holy Mackerel' track 14 on disc one is a particular favourite and I haven't found a better recording on the net yet ! Be aware there is some strong language on track 1 disc 1 ...Wouldn't want anyone to faint in Victorian / Middle American shock ! LOL ! - Gus

Great compilation, Gus. The Isley's 'Twist and Shout' original is better than the Beatles IMHO.
