Larry Carlton - Selection 1 & 2

Here are 2 compilations I made some time ago - of one of my favourite guitarists LARRY CARLTON - He's bliss for me ! I first heard him with The Crusaders (Spiral by them contains my fave Larry solo) and followed his subsequent solo career - I met him at The Jazz Cafe , London and he was a nice humble guy  and played like a demon. I play guitar but this guy makes me feel like I'm wearing boxing-gloves ! ... he signed my cd... 'to my friend ..Gus'  So guys ... He's a mate ! And would you believe it ..an old school friend from the UK is a neighbour in Tennessee and socializes with Larry and Michael McDonald !
No covers as this is my 2 compilation selection of great music.at mp3 320 , Contains some rare material ! =  Enjoy !

Larry Carlton (born March 2, 1948) is an American jazz, smooth jazz, jazz fusion, blues, pop, and rock guitarist. He has divided his recording time between solo recordings and session appearances with various well-known bands. Over his career, Carlton has won four Grammy Awards for his performances and compositions, including performing on the theme song for the hit television series, Hill Street Blues (1981).

Dear GG & Poppa, sold ! Not out of Carlton ignorance, but you got my head spinning with different trails to follow. Great rap so here I go.

Thanks Gus. Some of the music was too smooth for my taste but great guitar playing throughout.
